Adobe Connect Event Reporting
This is an important notice for all Adobe Connect customers who administer their own on-premise Adobe Connect servers, or partners who manage customer accounts, either on-premise or with a private-cloud managed service! This does not affect hosted accounts.
The Adobe Analytics team will soon be deprecating the Omniture 1.3 APIs that are currently used by Adobe Connect to provide event reporting – the event reporting for Adobe Connect seminar and meeting rooms will stop working at that time without the update described below.
On-premise and managed accounts do not provide the ‘Basic Reporting’ offered on Adobe Connect hosted accounts, and must integrate with an external Adobe Analytics account in order to provide detailed event reporting. Hosted customers will not have any impact as the hosted team will be updating the APIs on all hosted accounts before the end-of-support date.

We believe the number of servers affected will be small, as not all customers use our events module, and many who do will not have enabled this integration. However it is important that we update these accounts in order to prevent any event reporting down-time.
To recap – this information only applies to customers that meet ALL these criteria:
- On-premise or managed servers
- Events Module enabled and in use
- Separate customer-owned Adobe Analytics account that has been integrated using the UI shown here:
