Updater 10.6.2a for Adobe Connect
By the second week of June, all Adobe Connect Hosted cluster servers currently running on Adobe Connect version 10.6.2, will be updated to 10.6.2a. This updater does not require any downtime or maintenance window.
The following two issues are addressed with this updater:
- The Chat Pod character limit warning message appearing to Meeting users before reaching the maximum character limit allowed int he pod.
- Breakout Room (BoR) slow performance in the Adobe Connect Meeting Application and intermittent disconnection from BoRs; this patch will improve the responsiveness of BoRs and eliminate excess latency related to certain BoR use cases.
For on-premise Adobe Connect customers the patch is available for download on the updater page:

The caveat with this patch is that these fixes are not included in Adobe Connect 10.8 as they were added after 10.8 was ready. If you wish or need to install 10.8, you may simply skip 10.6.2a as it will be overwritten by 10.8. The 10.6.2a fixes will be included in Adobe Connect 11.
