“Account Limit Reached” error may get displayed while adding New Users under Administrator Group despite having unlimited permission to add users

ISSUE DESCRIPTION: 

An “Account Limit Reached” error may get displayed while adding new users under Administrator Group despite of having unlimited permission to add users there.

ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Adobe Connect Hosted
  • Adobe connect On-premise

REASON BEHIND THIS BEHAVIOR: 

Usually this behavior may get introduced, if somehow Administrator Group may get accidentally added to another System Group which has limited permissions and, in such case it might not be possible to add new users further in the Administrator group.

SOLUTION: 

In order to diagnose the problematic group, an Administrator user would need to verify all the System Groups created on the account under Administration > Users & Groups option.

It needs to be verified if Administrator Group is accidentally added under any other particular different group or not. Once that is figured out, the Administrator group just needs to be removed from there and then it should be possible to be able to add unlimited number of users in the Administrator group.
