Connect Upgrade Database Settings Page Loops and Never Completes

Problem:

While upgrading Connect, the wizard displays the database settings page in the console; when you click Next, occasionally it may loop back to first screen again and never complete.

Reason:

Some DB columns in the tables did not get created during the upgrade process

Look for this output in the debug.log file:

01-27 17:14:45] console-8510-1 (ERROR) ERROR OCCURRED IN fetch com.macromedia.breeze.model.Account
[01-27 17:14:45] console-8510-1 (INFO) Exception caught in DBRows.populate(), e=com.macromedia.airspeed.StatusException$Invalid$NoSuchItem:

[01-27 17:14:39] cps-startup (ERROR) ERROR OCCURRED IN fetch com.macromedia.breeze.model.Asset
[01-27 17:14:39] cps-startup (INFO) Exception caught in DBRows.populate(), e=com.macromedia.airspeed.StatusException$Invalid$NoSuchItem:

Solution:

The logs indicate that few DB columns in few tables do not get created during the upgrade process. Call Support for further help. You may need to run the DB script that is part of the upgrade installer separately against the database or you may need more relaxed account restrictions for the Connect DB user.
