PowerPoint Files Fail to Publish in Adobe Connect 12.x on Windows 2022

This article is only relevant for on-premise customers who are running Windows 2022 on their Adobe Connect servers.

PPTX and also PDF uploads to Adobe Connect can fail to convert and render if the needed Microsoft Visual C++ libraries are not installed.

On Windows 2022, if PPTX fails to convert, check the logs for this error:

BaseServlet exception: Conversion failed with retcode 255

Also return error codes, 1073741515 & 1073741819

A needed library to solve this is: Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) – 12.0.30501

Note: If it the library is already installed, it may need to be reinstalled again.

A second library that is needed is: Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) – 14.32.31326
