Account Logo is not Updated on an Events Template |Adobe Connect

ISSUE DESCRIPTION: An account logo is not updated in the Events Template after it is changed

ENVIRONMENT:

  • Adobe Connect Hosted 12.8 and above
  • Adobe Connect Events

STEPS TO REPLICATE:

  • Login to Adobe connect account.
  • Go to Administration> Compliance and Control> Advanced settings.
  • Select “Revert to classic Adobe Connect Central homepage for all users”.
  • Go to Administration> Customization> Customize central> Update the banner logo.
  • Go to Event> Event template> Edit.
  • Drag and drop the component Account logo. It will still show old account logo. 

REASON: The web browser cache is corrupted; the image URL is cached.  It will only reflect properly when browser clears the cache.

SOLUTION:

  • Login to Adobe connect account.
  • Go to Administration> Compliance and Control> Advanced settings.
  • Select “Revert to Classic Adobe Connect Central homepage for all users”.
  • Go to Administration> Customization> Customize central> Update the banner logo.
  • Open Adobe Connect account in an incognito window or click Ctrl+Shift+R.
  • Go to Events> Event template> Edit.
  • Drag and drop the component account logo. It will show updated account logo.
