MAC clients are not able to join Adobe Connect Meetings in Chrome after upgrading to Big Sur.
This issue only affects versions of Adobe Connect prior to 11.0.6 Adobe Connect Hosted Customers are unaffected.
Sundry MAC clients are reporting they are not able to join Adobe Connect Meetings in Chrome after upgrading to Big Sur.
Those on-premise Adobe Connect customers who are on versions of Adobe Connect prior to 11.0.6 need to make some minor changes in the <CONNECT_HOME>/appserv/common/AddInInfo.xml.
Wherever there are entries for “Mac OS 10” in the AddInInfo.xml file, change it read to “Mac OS”.
For example if the original is:
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?>

With Big Sur, Apple updated the version number to 11.0, so the above change is required to make it compatible.
