Adobe Connect pre-meeting Connection test fails in 10.2

This issue was is now resolved

Problem Statement: Adobe Connect pre-meeting diagnostic Connection Test fails

Environment:

  • Adobe Connect Hosted
  • Adobe Connect version 10.2

Steps to Replicate:

  1. Access the pre-meeting test at the following URL pattern
  2. Hosted: https://[your_account_name].adobeconnect.com/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm
  3. Click on ‘Run Diagnostic Test’
  4. Adobe Connect Connection Test fails (screenshot below)

Solution: We logged this as a Bug#CONN-4111499

  • We are now planning an URGENT CMR this weekend 26 – 28 April 2019 to fix the issue with the meeting test pages.  This will require DOWNTIME (about 10-20 minutes).  In-Product notifications (displayed inside any Connect room) are live NOW.

Reason for this Behavior:

  • Due to the large volume of calls/emails we have received, we feel this is necessary to push forward with the short notice downtime fix.
  • This was identified as a BUG post-Adobe Connect 10.2 upgrade.

Additional Information:

  • The Adobe Connect pre-meeting test checks your computer and network connections and helps you troubleshoot connection problems before your meeting begins.

I also get this error. My hosted Connect has been very laggy lately (I often get “Not Responding” errors during meetings). Could this be related?

      Hi Kathryn,

Yes if you are getting the same error as described in the blog and a screenshot shared then they are related.
You may also contact our hosted team available 24 *7 on 1800-422-3623 or drop an email to cgsupp@adobe.com

    Rahul,

We are tentatively scheduled to update our on-premise account to version 10.2 on 4/27/2019. Does Adobe plan to mitgate this issue via a hotfix or a maintenance update (like a 10.3. 10.4, etc.).

    Thanks,
    Sergio

Hi, I am getting this error message and need to join a meeting on 04/08/2019 and a meeting each week after that. When is 10.5 released and what can I do in the meantime please?

      Rachel,
We are looking to find the best way forward to resolve the issue in the short term. Once we have the timeline, we will share the details.

I experience the same problems, also when pre meeting testing in Dutch language(https://[your_account_name].adobeconnect.com/common/help/nl/support/meeting_test.htm).
Only saying that it will be fixed in 10.5 is not acceptable. When will this release be available?
At this moment I can’t let my participants test their connections in advance.
