Adobe Connect and MAC OSX 10.15 Catalina – Screen Share Settings

With the release of MAC OSX 10.15 Catalina, Adobe Connect users that share their screen in a meeting room will be prompted to adjust their security settings in the OS.  The first time you attempt to share your screen using the Adobe Connect Application in OSX 10.15, you will see the below pop-up message:

Click on the ‘Open System Preferences‘ button and you will be taken to the Security & Privacy settings in OSX.  Ensure you are on the Privacy tab.

In the Screen Recordings section, ensure to check the box next to Adobe Connect.app as shown below:

Once this is complete, you will be able to share your screen in Adobe Connect meetings.
