Unable to copy private templates in Event Management
Problem Statement: An Account/Event Administrator cannot create a copy of another user’s private (event/email) templates used in Event Management.
Environment:
- Adobe Connect Hosted
- Adobe Connect On-Premise
Reason for this behaviour:
This is as per design, where a user (administrator) is not allowed to create a copy of private templates (event/email) of other user’s.
Possible Solutions:
- As template owner, ‘copy’ a private event template and put the copy into the shared event template library.
- If you wanted to, you could then do the same procedure to ‘copy’ the template now in the shared library to someone else’s private library and then delete the shared one – or you could just leave them as shared.
