Installing Adobe Connect Server 12.4.1 On-premise on Windows 2022 Operating System

This article only pertains to on-premise Adobe Connect Server installations.

Windows Server OS 2022 is supported in Adobe Connect 12.6. 12.6 however is an updater and not a full installer. To get to 12.6, the full installer, 12.4.1 is the place to start. The 12.4.1 full installer does not support Windows 2022 and will throw this error on installation:

This error can be closed and ignored as the Windows OS will not cause any issues with the upgrade to 12.6. After closing the pop-up continue with the installation of 12.4.1 and proceed to run the rest of the updates.
