Adobe Connect subscription renewal: Transition from Digital River

Starting in February 2025, Adobe Connect customers who purchased from Digital River as a reseller, can renew with Adobe to continue their services. 

NOTE: This only pertains to subscription based accounts purchased through Digital River

Adobe works with a wide range of partners to offer subscriptions globally. Starting in February 2025, Adobe will no longer renew its contract with Digital River as an authorized partner. As a result, Digital River customers will need to purchase new plans from Adobe. 

If your current Adobe Connect subscription was sold via Adobe’s authorized reseller, Digital River, please note that Digital River has ceased its business operations. Therefore, Digital River will no longer continue to offer or renew Adobe Connect subscriptions 

Once your current paid license period expires, the subscription you purchased via Digital River will expire. To continue using Adobe Connect, please contact Adobe Connect Support and purchase a new subscription from Adobe. Adobe has extended your expiration date by 30 days to allow time for this transition.

Q: What is Digital River? 

A: Digital River is an authorized reseller of Adobe products that provides global e-commerce and payment services. Digital River managed some of Adobe’s business transactions internationally. You can learn more about Digital River on their website. 

Q: Why isn’t my Adobe Connect subscription renewing? 

A: Starting in February 2025, customers that purchased from the reseller Digital River will no longer be able to renew their Adobe subscription. To maintain your subscription with Adobe, you can purchase a new plan from Adobe at the time of your renewal. 

Q: Can I purchase the same plan through Adobe before or after my renewal date?

A: Yes, you can contact Adobe Connect Support at any time to purchase a new plan. Depending on your subscription type, it may not be the same pricing. 

Q: What will happen to my existing Adobe subscription

A: You will have access to all Adobe Connect services in your plan until your renewal date. If you do not know your renewal date, you can access it anytime by visiting the administration section of your account. To continue using Adobe Connect, you will need to purchase a new plan by contacting Adobe Connect Support

Q: Will my account data, recordings and content be lost? 

A: If you purchase a new plan from Adobe, you will not lose any cloud documents, files, or assets. Customer support can help you with the migration to the new account plan.

Q: Can I cancel my existing subscription and purchase a new one from Adobe?

A: If you would like to cancel your existing subscription and purchase a new one from Adobe ahead of your renewal period, please contact Adobe Connect Support to ensure your plan is cancelled and a new one is purchased.
