Adobe Connect Transmuxing Server (ACTS) Crashes on Windows 2022
Note: This article pertains only to on-premise Adobe Connect installations running ACTS on Windows 2022

A newly installed Windows 2022 ACTS server will fail with the Windows application error, “Faulting application name: ConnectorCore.exe, version: 12.3.90.”
On the client-side, the 1006 error will show that as soon as the wss connection is opened, it closes:
This issue is solved in upcoming Adobe Connect release 12.8.
In the meantime, a version of ACTS that is patched to solve this issue is available here: https://platinum.adobeconnect.com/acts128/default/acts.zip
To install this patch simply stop the ACTS service, overwrite the existing files in the ACTS folder with the new extracted ones in the patch and start the ACTS service as follows:
- Stop ACTS service.
- Rename existing acts folder.
- Extract the newly downloaded ACTS.zip
- Create a new ACTS folder and copy the patch files into the new ACTS directory.
- Start ACTS service.
