Wiley Education Solutions leverages the latest technologies to help transform higher education. One of the company’s newest achievements uses Adobe Connect to deliver virtual learning experiences that rival classroom experiences in terms of quality and learning outcomes.
By combining the Adobe Connect web conferencing platform with the Vantage Point video and support extension pod from Refined Data Solutions, Wiley has enabled educators to view all students while presenting materials, just like in a classroom. Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business is an early user, adopting it for graduate business classes.
“Adobe Connect and Vantage Point enable us to conduct synchronous sessions we call MSFLive, that are light years ahead of anything we have seen before,” says Allan Eberhart, Master of Science in Finance (MSF), Program Director, and Professor of Finance at Georgetown University. “This technology has the sophistication and reliability that we need to be assured that the program can be delivered according to the high standards of Georgetown.”
Georgetown chose the Adobe Connect and Vantage Point solution because of the way it maintains the integrity of the classroom environment. By anchoring the program in real-time with face-to-face interactions, Georgetown can support its core academic capabilities while differentiating its curriculum from other online programs. http://adobe.ly/1DT0by0
