
Unknown Error in Mozilla Firefox upon Muting the Microphone in Adobe Connect Meeting
ISSUE DESCRIPTION: Users receive an unknown error upon muting a published microphone in Adobe Connect Meeting using Mozilla Firefox browser.

ENVIRONMENT:
- Adobe Connect Meeting
- Adobe Connect version 12.9.1, 12.10
- Mozilla Firefox version 141
REASON: This has been identified as a bug (CONN-4166853) with Adobe Connect version 12.9.1, 12.10.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
- Enter the meeting using FireFox and connect the camera first.
- Then your connect microphone.
- Then mute the microphone.
WORKAROUND (For Windows OS only):
- Go to Control Panel> All Control Panel Items> Programs and Features.
- Open Mozilla Firefox> Select Mozilla Firefox> Uninstall/ Change.
- Open Mozilla Firefox> Go to about:preferences:

- Select this option from Preferences:

- If you are prompted to install Firefox update version 141 then please ignore.
- If there are any important Bookmarks then follow steps to create a backup – https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer
- Download Mozilla Firefox 121.0 from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/121.0/win64/en-GB/
- Run “Firefox Setup 121.0.exe” and install.
- Conduct Adobe Connect Meeting on Firefox browser version 121.
Note: If an alternative browser to Firefox can be used until this is resolved, that may be a better option than downgrading the Firefox browser.
