
Safari Browser Audio in Adobe Connect Meetings

VoIP Audio may echo in Adobe Connect Meetings when clients run the Safari browser.
When joining Adobe Connect rooms Connect does not automatically incorporate the use of the device settings at the OS level. Intentionally entering the Adobe Connect Meeting with the client OS level audio options matching the options used in Adobe Connect Meeting will help mitigate the issue albeit with the risk of poor audio quality.

Once you are in the Meeting without having previously matched the audio options, switching the audio devices (microphone and speaker) to match the OS device settings will cause an echo. Once in this condition, there is no way to make the audio normalize without leaving the Meeting and reentering with the OS and Connect audio options matching.
The best options to for crisp audio are to use an alternative browser or the Adobe Connect Meeting Application. Chrome works very well. If you wish to use Edge review this technote.
