Enabling Microphones and Cameras in an Adobe Connect meeting using Microsoft Edge
When joining an Adobe Connect meeting room using the Microsoft Edge browser you should see one of the following audio/video prompts on the entry screen.

NOTE: if you do not see either of the following prompts check Troubleshooting below.
If the host has not allowed cameras for participants, then only the microphone prompt will appear.

NOTE: the request to “Use your microphones” will show up, even if the host has not allowed participants to enable their microphones. Allowing microphone access when entering the meeting is intended to reduce time and confusion when enabling microphones during the meeting.
Choosing Allow will not automatically share your microphone. You must also turn on your microphone from the login screen or when you are in the meeting.
Choosing Block will prevent your microphone from being used. If you wish to share your microphone at a later point during the meeting you will be required to refresh your browser and rejoin the meeting. See Re-enabling your microphone.

Troubleshooting
If you are not prompted to Allow your microphone or camera when joining a meeting, then it is possible that you have chosen Block when joining a previous meeting. You can continue to join the meeting and then follow the ‘re-enabling your microphone’ and ‘re-enabling your camera’ options above.
Alternatively, you can review your privacy settings from the Settings page in Microsoft Edge. You can access these by clicking on the ellipsis (three dots) in the URL bar and selecting Settings.

To review your microphone privacy settings, type ‘microphone’ in the search field to quickly find the privacy settings.

To remove a previously blocked microphone from an Adobe Connect account, simply click the ‘trash can’ icon associated with that account URL.

To review your camera privacy settings, type ‘camera’ in the search field to quickly find the camera privacy settings.

To remove a previously blocked camera from an Adobe Connect account, simply click the ‘trash can’ icon associated with that account URL.
If you wish to revoke a previously allowed camera, click on the trash can icon beside those URLS in the ‘Allowed to use your camera’ section.

By removing any previously blocked or allowed cameras and microphones, your settings will be reset. You will be prompted again the next time you join a meeting on those accounts.
