Early Event Access by Registered Users before the Scheduled Start Time

DESCRIPTION:

Adobe Connect Events now restricts how early registered users can access an event before its scheduled start time. Previously, registered users could enter an Event before the scheduled start time if the associated
Adobe Connect Meeting room was already active. Starting with Adobe Connect 12.12, registered users can access an event only within 15 minutes of its scheduled start time or after the event has started.

Hosts and Presenters are not affected by this restriction and can continue to access the associated meeting room at any time, provided the room is active.

ENVIRONMENT:

• Adobe Connect Events
• Adobe Connect 12.12 and later

UPDATED BEHAVIOR:

• Registered users can join an event starting 15 minutes before its scheduled start time.
• If a registered user attempts to join earlier, they will see the message: “Session has not started.”
• Hosts and Presenters retain unrestricted access to the associated meeting room while it is active.

This behavior is new with Adobe Connect 12.12.
