Custom Pods in Adobe Connect Meetings

Adobe Connect, delivers a secure, stable, and high-performing experience for Meetings, Webinars, and Virtual Classrooms. As part of ongoing platform improvements, this important update regarding Custom Pods is imperative.

What’s Changing?

Some legacy Custom Pods are now deprecated and no longer supported. Going forward, the only supported Custom Meeting Pods are those available directly within the Adobe Connect in-meeting marketplace.

What You Should Do

You can gain access to supported Custom Meeting Pods here:

  1. Open your Adobe Connect Meeting room.
  2. Navigate to Menu → Pods → Custom Pods.
  3. Add Custom Pods exclusively from the in-product marketplace.
  4. Remove and discontinue use of any older, locally stored, or externally sourced pod files.

Why This Update Matters

Over time, some customers may have downloaded or retained copies of older or legacy Custom Pods. While these may still appear functional, they are:

  • ❌ No longer officially supported
  • ❌ Not guaranteed to work with current or future releases
  • ❌ Potentially unstable in live sessions

Using unsupported Custom Pods may result in unexpected behavior during Meetings, Webinars, Virtual Classrooms or Seminars.

To ensure session reliability and optimal performance, we strongly recommend using only the Custom Pods available directly within the meeting room marketplace.
