Adobe Connect Events Responsive Templates Fail to Populate Landing Pages

This article applies only to on-premise Adobe Connect deployments running the AEM-based Events module.

If none of the images or text in a responsive Events template are displayed on the Event landing pages when the responsive template is selected, check the URLs in CRXDE Publisher. It may have been overwritten during installation or update procedures.

Note: Non-responsive Events templates in this case may work just fine.

In CRXDE Publisher the serverURL setting for /content/adobeconnect/0/jcr:content may have reverted or been overwritten to http://localhost instead of the Connect Webapp URL.  Change the localhost URL to the Adobe Connect URL and once updated with the correct URL, restart the Publisher service.

Go to CRXDe | Lite at http://localhost:4502/crx/de/index.jsp and update the “serverURL” value to your Adobe Connect server URL.

Expand “content”, then “Connect”, “c1” , “jcr content”: double click in the value field to edit it and enter the FQDN of your Adobe Connect server:

It is prudent to also check this URL setting on the Author side to be sure it is set to the correct URL.
